Pub Fiction is open from 4pm to 2am 7 days a week (open at 11am Sat and Sun during College Basketball season).  Pub was designed by a sports fanatic, for sports fanatics. It has 30 TV’s including the 140 sq ft. giant screen TV that is put up for all major sporting events! Looking for some good live music? Pub has great bands playing Wednesday thru Friday . They also have a great menu of food to order and a friendly staff to serve it.

If you are looking for a place with live music and a good laugh, look no further. Howl at the Moon has live entertainment every night with dueling pianos going from open to close. They are open  from Wednesday thru Saturday and go all the way to 2am. This place has always got some good happy hour specials. Avoid the lines on Saturday night by getting there early, because this hot spot fills up quick.

The name says it all, DECKHOUSE. Vito's is a great place if you want a huge deck to have a few cold ones. This place has great food, including Crawfish, and drink specials. They are open 7 days a week, have 2 huge indoor TV's for those sports you can't miss, and make killer frozen screwdrivers.

Wild West is by far the biggest country music dance hall in central Houston. Open from Tuesday thru Sunday, the fun never stops here. They have a DJ on hand to play the latest hits and the old ones too with a true Solid Oak dance floor that is never empty. They also have pool tables, blackjack, a boot shiner, and an outdoor patio.

Lucky's Pub has a 21 foot big screen. Yeah you heard me, 21 FEET. Lucky's is a hidden treasure on St. Emanuel that has everything you could possibly want and more. From Wii Sports to Xbox360's Rockband, challange your friends to some fun. They have arcade games, pool tables, dart boards, and a second story lounge. You won't be disappointed with this great place. They have hosted major events like Bud Bowl and 94.5 The Buzz New Year Bash.

1820 bar is located on Franklin St. just north of Minute Maid Park. They are open everyday from 4pm to 2 am with a happy hour from 4pm to 8pm. They open early for all baseball games and serve food such as pizza, White Castle cheeseburgers, and popcorn. 1820 is right next to Joystix Arcade, which opens up the game room every first and last Friday of every month. For 15 dollars, play from 9pm till 2am!

Whiskey Creek is a country western bar with an old western theme. They are open from Thursday to Saturday and are located on the south side of Midtown. They have a nice dance floor but expect it to be quite crowded as the night goes on. No food is served here but they have a good drink selection.

Sherlock's Baker St. Pub on West Gray is an incredible place. Don't let the their front room size scare you because their back room is huge. Sherlock's has live music, great food, and drinks. Also have fun finding the bathroom :), here is a quick hint: you might have to go through a bookcase. You will know what that means when you check out this great watering hole.

Sams Boat is a great place with a huge deck, good food and a lot of bars so you dont have to spend time waiting for a drink. They host live music, have pool tables and other entertainment inside that will make the hours pass like minutes. This place is located on the Richmond strip but also has a few other locations in the Houston area.

702 is a nice lounge located on Dallas St. that is open 7 days a week. This place has a killer patio and sets up some big TV's during sporting events. They have food to order and happy hours thru the week. Definitely a laid back environment with a cool atmosphere to enjoy a few drinks with some friends.
